Le port PS5 de Xemu (« Helper », Alpha-2.1, app PPSA97358) fait tourner la Xbox 2001 — Halo, Jet Set Radio Future, Knights of the Old Republic — sur ta PS5. L'ironie est à son comble : la console qui « ne pouvait pas » faire tourner du PlayStation fait l'inverse.

Comme sur PC, Xemu exige deux fichiers extraits d'une Xbox originale :
Like on PC, Xemu requires two files extracted from an original Xbox:
- le BIOS (dump de la puce de ta console — les BIOS retail dumpés soi-même ou les BIOS « debug » dont tu disposes légitimement),
- the BIOS (dumped from your console's chip — self-dumped retail BIOSes or debug BIOSes you legitimately hold),
- et la ROM MCPX (le bootloader de la carte mère).

Sans eux, Xemu ne démarre pas — il n'existe pas de « BIOS universel » légal.

.xiso(ISO Xbox) — dumpées de tes DVD (le DVD de la Xbox se dump depuis la console elle-même avec le soft adéquat). - Format:
.xisoimages (Xbox ISOs) — dumped from your DVDs (the Xbox's drive can dump them from the console itself with the right soft). - Poids : 2–7 Go par jeu, prévois le stockage en conséquence.
- Size: 2–7 GB per game, plan storage accordingly.

Alpha assumé : les jeux « phares » (Halo CE…) tournent avec des degrés de vitesse/bugs variables selon les builds ; la liste de compatibilité du port évolue vite.
